Fishing on MagmaMC works a little bit differently than the vanilla fishing mechanics, you can earn money from fishing and catch more different fishes.

You are still able to catch vanilla fish, you will catch more custom items/fish rather than vanilla fish/items.

 

With /bait, you can buy baits for your fishing rod.

You can use the bait 3 times, but the count will only go down if you catch a fish with the same rarity as the rod

 

There are different types of fish and different rarities.

It also depends on the weight of the fish how much money you will receive!

 

There are also different types of fish in specific biomes, when it rains or when it is night there are also different types.
